Children of the black pearl-Balochistan picture exhibition was held in Stockholm Sweden.

Kulturcentrum (Cultural Center) in Hallonbergen located in northern Stockholm hosted the event together with Studiefrämjandet (association for promotion of studies). The event was produced and executed by the initiative of Homayoon Mobaraki, who had travelled to Balochistan in early 2009. 

The exhibition started with the showing of a short documentary about the Baloch and Balochistan produced by Homayoon Mobaraki. The second act following the documentary was a presentation by Professor Carina Jahani regarding the oral literary tradition of the Balochs and also the Balochi language and its contemporary status.

Monireh Sulemani presented an emotional speech about the situation of the Baloch women and the human rights situation in Balochistan. This was followed by another short documentary, showing samples of various Baloch politicians and other experts views on Balochistans problems.

The three hour long exhibition came to its end with Homayoon Mobaraki thanking those who had assisted him in making this happen, and also by wishing all participants that they would try to remember what they had seen on this day and try to take action.
